Pearl Street Entrance to Point Defiance Park / Waterfront Phase 1

SCI Infrastructure, LLC is underway of the featured redesign of the Pearl Street Entrance to the Point Definance Park.  In collabration with the Metropolitan Parks, The City of Tacoma and the Department of Transportation this project is part of a Master Plan Development for the entire area.

The center of the roundabout intersection will feature a Point Defiance Park Entrance metal artwork signage with distressed wood features in concrete.  We are excited to be a part of this important redevelopment in the Tacoma Waterfront area.

The project will include a roundabout for better traffic circulation, and ferry lane traffic improvements.  Significant stormwater corrections and some removal of existing soil and previous trolly rails.  Access to Pt Defiance Park and the Ferry Lanes affected.  Please see the Tacoma Parks Waterfront Improvement website or find them at Facebook for more pictures, maps and updates of the extensive ongoing redevelopment in the area.

Paving has been completed and the round about is in full use.  We will continue to work on sidewalks, landscaping and signage.
